First thing’s first…the winner of my first (and most definitely not last) giveaway! Originally we were going to just pick the cutest or most creative entry, but lets be honest, we are biased and love you all! So, we decided to go old school. Yes, we wrote everyone’s name down, folded them up and drew a name! Without further ado, the winner of the giveaway is….MEGAN RENWICK (one of my most recent bookings, a June 2013 bride and friend)!

Her entry was: “One of my favorite beverages is a cup of hot chai tea. I love it first thing in the morning on a cold day, or my way to relax after a long work day. Even living in Florida now I drink it for comfort, reminding me of my home in Pittsburgh.” With that said, I will be sending you a Starbucks gift card (I absolutely love their chai tea lattes)!

On another note, today is “Closing Day” on our new house!!! These awesome 90’s lyrics come to mind “Closing time…every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end!” We are leaving the first place we called “home” together as a married couple and all of the memories that took place there over the past year! But there is, without a doubt, unbelievable excitement as we look forward to getting the keys to our new house today! We can’t wait to make this house our new “home” and share all the before and after pictures with you guys!
