So, the cat’s out of the bag…we are expecting another Mini Mish this November and couldn’t be more excited!! Just like when we found out we were pregnant with Em, we thought it’d be fun to do another little FAQS post!

How far along am I? 12.5 weeks! And we’ve already seen the baby and heard the heartbeat!

When is my due date? November 20th

Have I been sick? No! I have been very fortunate with both pregnancies and haven’t been sick at all…some food aversions yes, but feeling great!

What pregnancy symptoms did/have I experienced? I was really tired early on and napped just about every time Em did, but other than that this pregnancy has been pretty symptom-free.

Did we know I would be able to get pregnant again after having my surgery and only having one ovary? The doctors said I should be able to get pregnant again (that was one of the first questions we asked with tears in our eyes after hearing that I needed the surgery) as long as my left ovary behaved! Well, praise the Lord it behaved. The only other concern we had was that since I was pregnant with Em and growing while I was healing from the surgery, they didn’t know how the scar tissue was going to form so I was at a higher risk for an ectopic pregnancy – the reason I had an early ultrasound of this sweet baby. Thankfully, he/she is snuggled perfectly right where it’s supposed to be! Praise be to God!

Are we going to find out the gender? Absolutely! Oh my goodness we can’t wait and are just 6 weeks shy of finding out! 

Do we think it is a boy or a girl? This is a tough one…I think girl, the heart rate was 174 (Em was 172), and since I’ve had such a similar pregnancy I can’t help but assume it’s another girl. However, Mike has done his research and completely disregards the heart rate…he’s convinced it’s a boy.

What have I been craving? Honestly, I can’t say that I’ve had any specific cravings this time around – or at least not yet. 

Am I still shooting weddings? Absolutely! We have a full wedding season ahead and are over halfway done booking for 2017! 

Do we have names picked out? We have a list (that’s been evolving since high school – honestly), and we are making our way through trying to narrow down our absolute favorites!
